Two-Hour Delay Today, February 19, 2026

Due to the current winter weather conditions, all Flagstaff Unified School District schools have a two-hour delayed start today, February 19, 2026. The delayed start means that all schools will begin two hours after their normal start time and release according to the regular full-day dismissal time.

Morning buses will run two hours later than normal today. Afternoon dismissal time and school bus routes will be the same as a regular day.

Breakfasts will still be available for students today at the delayed start time. If breakfast is typically served in the cafeteria at your student’s school, breakfast will be available in the cafeteria as normal. If your student’s school does not serve breakfast in the cafeteria, we ask that students go to the cafeteria to receive breakfast this morning.

The FACTS before-school program will open at 7:30 a.m. this morning and operate until the start of school. Only FUSD students already scheduled to attend morning FACTS will be permitted.

Thank you for your interest in Coconino High School. Here you will find information about enrolling your student. 

If you are unsure of where your student is boundaried to attend school, check out the map by clicking School Site Locator. If they are not boundaried for Coconino High School, fill out the boundary exception form found by clicking Boundary Exception Form. 

Follow the steps below to enroll your student.

  • Is your student already a current FUSD Student at MEMS or Sinagua?
    • If yes, you will need to verify via ParentVUE and provide current proof of residency.
  • Has your student ever attended a FUSD School K-12?
    • Contact the Coconino High School Registrar: Shari Contreras at scontreras@fusd1.org 
  • If your student has never attended a FUSD school and is new to the district:

Course request sheets signify to your student’s school counselor what level of content area and electives they want.  Our course catalog provides information on our course offerings, their descriptions, and prerequisites. 

You’ll want to review the 9th grade offerings for your 8th grader: Course Request Sheets & Course Catalog

Please fill out a course request form and e-mail it to the Coconino High School Registrar, Shari Contreras. Scontreras@fusd1.org

ParentVUE Instructions

ParentVUE gives you access to your students information (grades, attendance, etc.).  For questions about ParentVUE, please contact the Coconino High School Data Clerk, Ursula Lesley at ulessley@fusd1.org.
