Welcome to the 25/26 School Year!
July 21, 2025
Dear Panther Parents and Students:
I hope this letter finds you enjoying the summer. The staff at Coconino High School is very excited about the upcoming school year. During the summer break we have been busy preparing the school facilities, student schedules, hiring new faculty, and developing curriculum for the 2025-26 school year. I want to personally welcome the students and families of the class of 2029. Thank you all for making CHS your school of choice.
One of our ongoing goals is to improve the level of communication between our school and our families. We strive to keep you informed of what’s happening at school as well as your student’s progress and attendance throughout the school year. The ParentVue parent portal is an important part of our communication with you. During the walk-in registration week, our front office staff will be available to assist you with login information for ParentVue should you need assistance. We also kindly ask that you keep your phone number and address up to date in our offices so we can contact you when needed. Also, please see the email from the FUSD Communications Department about signing up for Parentsquare. This will be the main communication platform for FUSD. To stay informed, I encourage you to follow us on Facebook and Instagram. Also, please bookmark our new CHS Website.
Included with this letter is information to help you prepare for the 2025-26 school year. Please read all the material carefully and click on the links for more information. The links will take you to our new website.

We are proud to launch the 2025–2026 school year under the theme: “Coconino: This is Us — One Path, but Many Journeys.” This theme reflects our commitment to unity and belonging while honoring the unique experiences and backgrounds of every student and family, faculty and staff in our community. While each may take a different path — academically, personally, and culturally — we all share a common goal: success, growth, and pride in being part of the Panther family. Whether your student is just beginning high school or preparing for graduation, we are here to support their individual journey within our shared path forward.
Best wishes for a continued happy summer, and I look forward to seeing you and welcoming you to the 2025-26 school year.
Sincerely,
Tadd Ragan, Principal
